Good morning. Its march seventh. A Rescue Operation is under way after an avalanche has hit the popular ski resort of tignes in the french alps. Several people are thought to be buried underneath. Initial reports suggest there may be many people missing. Our correspondent has the latest. This is an emerging picture. People are beginning to tweet, eyewitnesses are beginning to tweet, eyewitnesses are describing the scene as the Avalanche Engulfing skiers and it is thought many people have been caught up thought many people have been caught up in this accident. Rescue workers and sniffer dogs have been deployed but apparently conditions they are or that of pure visibility and what that means is that helicopters have not been able to go up so no Rescue Workers are going up into the skies and as you know, that is a key way in which these sort of accidents are dealt with so clearly some hindrance to the rescue efforts.
