governor chris nuno who's a republican from the great state of new hampshire, he said that. "candidates should not be afraid to attack donald trump. trump has the iron grip on more than 30% of the electorate, the other 60% is moving toward a new nominee." he writes at the worry is if trump is a nominee, republicans at every level, state, local, national, will lose. what he is suggesting is something we talked about and some are republicans of set in the past which is after the iowa caucuses, the field has to shrink to 3 or 4 before new hampshire because the longer a bunch of republicans stay in the race, the more it ultimately helps joe biden. he doesn't think donald trump will make it. >> ainsley: the majority of americans don't know much about these candidates. we eat breathe and sleep this because it's our jobs but the majority of people do not. this is the beginning of the election, this is the kickoff because it's the first debate.
