A severely malnourished dog abandoned at the Kentucky Humane Society is out of the emergency veterinary hospital and back with KHS staff, the group announced Wednesday evening.
"Ethan was stable enough to come home from the hospital today. While he is still unable to walk on his own and will need 'round-the-clock care from our vet team, we feel he is out of the woods when it comes to refeeding syndrome. Our staff can take care of him from this point on," they wrote on social media, where they've been sharing updates on his condition.
