This is one home that was lost in yesterdays fire, and within the past hour, the family who lives here removed papers from their site and theyre still onsite sifting through the debris with shovels to see if anything else can be salvaged. This fire started about 4 30 yesterday afternoon and quickly traveled up the hills here in East San Jose. It burned 150 acres. The fire is out but firefighters only have a fire alarm out about 50 of the burn area. There are still things in it smoldering so today they wanted to extend that containment line to 100 .
