So much of raising children these days seems to be about what we do not want them to do, keeping them away from dangers, real in virtual, no doubt this is a feature, perhaps a bug of her helicopter and age and i think this attitude fails to promote a sense of independence and kids. Not only do they not know how to walk down the street by themselves but they are also pretty much incapable of entertaining themselves at least without a device in hand. Power. Thats a relief. That is good. Mike is tracking the winds. Winds are hitting 50 Miles Per Hour across the north bay. The red flag warning continues until 4 00 today. Gusts continuing to taper once we get past 9 00 this the air will be so bone dry. Heres a look at the winds. In the last hour these are tapered a bit. When i got to work about 2 00, we were around 45, 50 Miles Per Hour. Right now were down to 30 to 40 with gusts, which are still dangerous, after what happened over the weekend a lot of the loose stuff has been shaken out. In the lower elevations, we didnt get too gusty. Fairfield at 24, Half Moon Bay at 23 are dealing with the gusty winds. 5 00, were still in the 20 to 30 range.
