We have to understand the history of why Congress Passed itliable if they knew or had reason to know of illegal content. Once we had early online compuserve, the courts said, well, if you dont moderate user content, you can receive that protection, if you are like a store like a bookstore. But if you moderated, you are more like a newspaper. In 1996, Congress Passed the Communications Decency act, section 230, which says if you dont moderate or moderate, if you have reason to know, you will have this very broad immunity for content users post.
