Who was an employee of the excel industries plant. Was armed with an assault style weapon and a handgun. Police say ford also shot and wounded three people he encountered on the way to the plant before he went inside and opened fire. He was randomly shooting people. The first officer to arrive immediately engaged the gunman and single handily took him down. This man was not going to stop shooting. The only reason he stopped shooting was because that officer shot the shooter.
