We were doing a story about an opposition type newspaper and its editor and what it was like to run a newspaper that felt free to criticize the regime when so many other papers were being cracked down on and what it was like to be in that position. Then the coup started and suddenly our story took on sort of a different dimension. It turns out the editor we were writing about is one of the people on their list of people they dont like postcoup, because postcoup they are cracking down on opponents.
