he would fix companies. his reputation is sterling. but he's very new. he wasn't there during this period of time. something obviously took place. but you can get e-mails. they can hire people that can go to those hard drives and get those e-mails. i don't know why they're not doing that. i don't know why the republicans or the committees aren't doing this. >> you know what? yesterday they broke the story that apparently there was this company ever since 2005 that the irs had hired in san jose, california. they've been e-mailing everything. in fact, they were bragging on twitter. they say if the irs uses our products to back up their servers, why wouldn't you choose them to protect your servers? they misspelled servers, we should point out. >> you're right. >> what's curious about it is that shortly after there were inquiries made by republicans of the irs, hey, are you targeting conservatives, her hard drive crashes. six other hard drive crashes.
it's an impossible story. bill said, i can't believe the president is claiming it wasn't terrorism. then again, maybe i can. it looks like obama isn't going to allow anyone to say that terrorism has occurred on his watch. so even though -- at one point she decided to resign and then thought if i decide to run for president, democrats will be steamed if i resign and i hurt obama on his reconnection. you say this is all a story put out by her aides to save for 2016 and to deflect against the fact that she had some real responsibility security wise and she failed. >> absolutely. look, benghazi is the albatross around hillary clinton's neck. she is desperately trying to get it off of her. she knows that she refused to authorize the use of force, to go to benghazi. it was her responsibility. it was her call. the stand down orders came from hillary. obama certainly, certainly bears responsibility for not standing
scenes? >> we know, and i reported in "dark forces" on that phone call between hillary clinton and president obama at 10:00 o'clock. we know eight minutes later, she released the statement from the state department blaming it on the video. it wasn't that one phone call that lined up the story that created the story. i think that's where they agreed on the story between the two of them. it's something that had been going on for a couple of days. the u.s. embassy in cairo had been tweeting about this video. a lot of people believe that's what got the attention of some of the collaboration in tie cairo. nobody in benghazi had ever seen it and had absolutely zero to do with what happened in benghazi. >> according to the story in klein's book, what happened was the president called at 10:00 o'clock and hillary wound up calling her husband, the former president, and they had this conversation. here is an excerpt. that story won't hold up, bill said. i know, hillary said. i told the president that.
