how mississippi s governor describe the devastating tornados that tore through that state today. at least ten are dead, and many homes and buildings have been destroyed there. thanks for joining us on this saturday night. i m craig melvin. that tornado outbreak stretched across the southeast today. the deadliest swept across the several mississippi counties, including one town especially hard. jay gray is on the ground in yazoo city tonight with that story. i m in a tornado right now. reporter: the skies turned black and filled with driving rain followed by a massive funnel cloud, just one of more than three dozen twisters that ripped across the southeast saturday. we re all right. we re all right. reporter: but much of mississippi is not. at least 16 counties were ravaged by the storms. some the most severe damage is in yazoo city, about 40 miles north of jackson. the worst thing that i had ever saw in my life. it s devastating. reporter: homes, businesses ....
