Apartments started pouring concrete into a 30 foot deep sinkhole along a beach access trail just off esplanade avenue in pacifica. The trail belongs to the apartment complex and the plan is to fill the bottom of the hole with concrete and then top it off with sand. Sot the city of pacifica said in a statement on monday that responsibility for repairing the sink hole and reopening the beach access belongs to the property owner.
