A security guard for rapper Kodak Black has been hospitalised after a shooting in a McDonald's parking lot in Florida.
The Zeze star and his entourage had just left the Cultur3 Fest featuring Kodak Black + Friends event in Tallahassee in the early hours of Monday when they noticed they were being followed.
His drivers tried to cut the pursuers off by having one of their cars block the entrance to the restaurant's parking area, but when a suspicious vehicle pulled up, a passenger opened fire, hitting a bodyguard in the leg.
The injured employee was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is now in a stable condition, TMZ reported, noting the guard reportedly underwent surgery after one of the shots apparently hit an artery.

The 'Good As Hell' hitmaker revealed she was planning to phone the 'Golden' hitmaker - who she has become great pals with - over the weekend to plan a duet with the 27-year-old pop star.
She told fans on Instagram Live: “New music is mother******* coming.
“Are you and Harry going to collab? I have a collab with him this weekend. I’m going to call him.”
The 'Truth Hurts' hitmaker also has a song she has written for her and the 'Work' hitmaker that she wants to try and get the 33-year-old Bajan superstar to lay down her vocals on.

A week after the Oscar winner sent newly-single Kim Kardashian a new vibrator and a sex-themed candle, Gwyneth sent a similar package to Demi.
The 28-year-old singer showed off her gifts in a video shared to her Instagram Story on Saturday - the day after she dropped her latest album, Dancing With the Devil... The Art of Starting Over.

Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka 'Tiny' Harris have been accused of sexual assault by three more women.
Following the initial claims against the couple, spokesperson for attorney Tyrone A. Blackburn told the New York Post's Page Six that he's been retained by three more alleged victims, who have chosen to remain anonymous, and he is “speaking with investigators from multiple jurisdictions to pursue criminal charges” against the pair.
The spokesperson continued to reveal that one of the women, aged 20, claims that T.I. and Tiny "forced her to swallow" a pill after she met them in a nightclub in Miami in 2010. She alleges that she was later taken to a South Beach hotel, where her phone was removed by the pair's security and she was forced to "take a powdered substance from his (T.I.'s) finger".

The Fancy rapper is known for showing off her sensational figure on social media but she has insisted she has no plans to monetise her selfies.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, the star, 30, told her fans she would never appear on adult content site OnlyFans.
"I think OnlyFans can be really empowering for people, But I WILL NEVER, EVER join," insisted Iggy.

Patti Smith is treating fans to a free, weekly online newsletter, containing poetry, music and "ruminations" from the punk legend herself.
The Gloria star took to Instagram earlier this week to announce she's teamed up with email subscription platform Substack for the newsletter, telling fans: "Writing is what I do, and have since twelve, imagining myself Jo March. Meditations, crime novels, and poetry, hidden in stacks of notebooks, written in every stage of life. Now, in the time of the pandemic, isolated from family, friends, and fellow workers, we are reinventing our processes."
She explained: “Through Substack I plan to form an inter-connective body of work for a responsive community. Each week I will post my weekly ruminations, shards of poetry, music, and musings on whatever subject finds its way from thought to pen, news of the mind, pieces of this world, free to all.”
