Cementing his position as the dominant candidate for a suddenly open congressional seat, Democrat Jared Moskowitz rolled out endorsements from 50 current and former elected officials. They include moderate-centrist Democrats and progressives. Several of the people now endorsing Moskowitz were in recent days considering running themselves. Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis is considering candidacy, and says he isn't dissuaded by support for Moskowitz.
