Some of those areas. we are also tracking grace a little farther back off towards the east. this system likely to pass by the dominican republic and haiti, getting into monday night and tuesday. winds will continue to intensify as it does, so still likely a tropical storm, not a hurricane when it makes that move. we have got a couple of tropical models here, jon. they are not all entirely in agreement. this system could pass to the north of the island. it could still pass to the south of the island, but the bulk of these do take it right over port-au-prince. that s something we will certainly be watching, and they are just really getting into the peak of hurricane season, as this is statistically when hurricanes happen and you will see over the next six weeks or so, i think things will ramp up, and we could be getting in a situation where one after another is moving into the caribbean. we will be watching it. jon? jon: a hurricane on top of a i m sorry, i guess a tropical storm at this point on top of the terrible earthquake. meteorologist adam clock in the fox weather center. thank you.
Adam? jon, you said it up there, the island nation of haiti and that earthquake epicenter kind of right in between two tropical systems we re currently tracking. one, fred, now moving up into the gulf of mexico. the other grace, one that could be impacting the island in the next few days. i will begin with fred. it s been a bit of a disorganized weakening system, winds at 35 miles-an-hour. you can tell not a whole lot of organization there. it s far enough away that haiti is not dealing with this at all at this point, slowly moving into the gulf of mexico tonight and into tomorrow. this is going to be your path, maybe making landfall now around panama city, further off maybe towards fort walton beach, those areas. the florida panhandle on monday still looking as though this could be getting up to tropical storm strength, but that s only going to be in the 40 to 50 miles-an-hour range. a system to pay attention to also a bit of a rain maker. because it s so far out to sea, florida is going to see rain, maybe not a ton of rain until it gets up closer to where it would make landfall, in the panhandle,
