Wicked Local Weymouth Evening High School Principal Michele Prendergast said although in-person classes had not been held for a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, graduates will have an in-person ceremony. Prendergast said the decrease in coronavirus cases and increased vaccinations against the disease would allow for an in-person graduation ceremony to be held, 7:30 p.m. May 24 in Weymouth High School’s auditorium. "A graduate will be allowed to have a maximum of two guests," she said. "The seating will be staggered according to the Board of Health regulations. Proper social distancing will be kept, and the ceremony will be shortened. We usually have a reception following the ceremony, but we will not have that this year."
