Why the condemnation by EU of Rwanda's judgement on Rusesabagina is questionable > IGIHE

A couple of days ago; the European parliament voted a resolution to condemn Rwanda for the arrest and the judgement of Paul Rusesabagina, the Hotel Rwanda hero, who was also leading a rebel group in Rwanda to destabilize the country. This group, 'the Forces de Liberation National' (FLN) killed several innocent civilians when they infiltrated and was composed of a rag tag of other groups of which the FDLR of Wilson Irategeka delivered the most elements. Rusesabagina had also send money in the past to that group and the organization was operating out of Burundi.
