Americas new beginning, a program for economic recovery. I dont want it to be simply the plan of my administration. Im here tonight to ask you to join me in making it our plan, together we can embark on this. [applause] thank you very much. [applause] i should have arranged to quit right there. [laughter] there will be many different opinions and ideas about how to achieve reform. That is why i am bringing together as nurses and workers, doctors and health care providers, democrats and republicans, to begin work on this issue next week. I suffered no illusions that this will be easy. It will be hard, but i know that nearly a century after Teddy Roosevelt called for reform, the cost of our health care has wait down our conscience long enough. Brian fitzpatrick, representing the eighth district. You are replacing your brother. Why did you decide to run . Rep. Fitzpatrick it was a tough decision. Years. N fbi agent for 14 i knew it was an open seat. I knew my brother was going to be honoring his work for term limits, which is something i believe in. It was something i thought long and hard about, just like anybody making a monumental step like that. , given that once you leave the bureau, temperately typically you cannot get back. Its not a reversible decision. Job i loved and i got to travel the world and work with amazing people. It was really difficult, especially stepping forth in an uncertainty. I live in a pretty tough district , a swing district. There was no guarantee as to the outcome would be. It was a risk, but it was one with taking for me, because like everyone else, i love my country and i wanted to do what i could to offer a different perspective. Right now no flights are going in or out because an American Airlines boeing 766 caught on fire. Flight 383 was about to take off from chicago for miami when it blew a tire and damaged an and gin. The pilot aborted takeoff. At least nine people were hurt. It is unclear how badly they were injured. Now closer to home here in bucks county where part of the pennsylvania turnpike is still closed tonight in both directions. Around 7 oclock this morning a dump truck tour down 14 wires in a construction zone. More than 10 hours later, the road is still closed and its expected to stay that way through tonights rush hour.
