President trump is changing his travel plans because of the storm. He was supposed to be in poland this weekend but instead stay at the white house, keep an eye on the hurricane and send Vice President mike pence to poland. Our highest priority is the safety of the people in the path of the hurricane. We are not going to be shy about deploying resources into the area of impact for dorian and were already beginning to move people, equipment, and supplies into the affected area. Hurricane dorian is forecasted to make landfall between the florida keys and southern georgia. Airlines and cruise ships are making changes because of the storm. Most airlines are letting passengers traveling to the area get waivers. Cruise ships have also changed their routes to avoid the hurricane. And disne ....

Records today for the second day, zen has a broken record again, they were 99 degrees today, sfo 94, that was a record, cant build a record at 100, redwood city, right on the water, 100 degrees, warmer temperatures again tomorrow, but not quite as hot as it has been. Its been really an amazing couple days with records two days in a row. Heres more of the highs today, check out the 106 in livermore, 106 in morganfafield, there is advisory for the general bay area, for the inland valleys. As the sun sets tonight, some relief from the heat across the bay area, it was a second day of record breaking temperatures. Some parts of the bay area topping 100 degrees. Chief meteorologist jeff ranieri has been tracking the rise in our temperatures and, jeff, we want to know when the temperatures are going to start to fall. Well, tomorrow well begin to see some, at least a little bit of relief. We are on the downward side of this heat wave. And talk about hot. I know a lot of you know just from driving around in your car, just how hot it was. You can see livermore 106, danville 105, south san jose also at 104. So with all of this heat, the numbers have kind of tckled ver at 81. Fremont 79. But notice right near the coast line were dropping down to 60s here for mill valley into San Francisco.
