Children being tested for enterovirus d68 at chop. All of these children have developed weakness in their arms and legs along with swelling in their spine. Doctors are investigating to see if theres connection between the weakness and the enterovirus infection. In Colorado Group of eight children experienced weakness and paralysis. But only four had the virus. We see patienting with inflammation of the spinal cord. Its very prominent involvement gray matter is not very common and that raises the possible of an infection.
