Robin i wanted to start with a point that you make in your book which is the importance of controlling the narrative and not allowing your story to be lost to cultural amnesia. With those things in mind, what was it that sparked the idea for you to sit down and write what is really a memoir at your ripe young age . Tennessee, super tuesday is the last thing on their mind tonight. Where we are in cookville, they are still doing search and rescue. The sheriff said a short time ago about 40 of the homes damaged by tornadoes still have not been searched. Youre talking about downtown nashville, an urban area that took a direct hit from the tornado. An hour east in cookville, 18 people died including sme children. Some people died in bed. They didnt have a chance to get out and run for their lives. At a place called church on the hill, 15 minutes down to road, family members who believe theyve lost loved ones have shown up at the church. Theyre being shown pictures of their relatives and asked to positively identify them. You hear beeping sounds in the distance, search and rescue, larms house to house, alarms going out. You see people mingling, holding bags under their arms, walking with their children. This is is a disaster zone, many unlike weve seen. To hit such an urban area like nashville and cont ....

Sanders thank you, vermont you know, it is a funny thing. Today, we won the mayoral race in burlington, vermont. [cheers and applause] and we won that race against all of the odds. Everybody said it couldnt be done [applause] began this race for the presidency, everybody said it could not be done. [cheers and applause] but tonight, i tell you with absolute confidence, we are going to win the democratic nomination. [cheers and applause] and we are going to defeat the most dangerous president in the history of this country. [cheers and applause] we are going to win. [chanting] sen.
