Hollywood s infamous Chateau Marmont If hell had a VIP area, then it might look a little like Hollywood s Chateau Marmont. The glitzy, 63-room establishment on Sunset Boulevard has seen more than its fair share of Tinseltown s great and good come unstuck. Its tagline Always a safe haven, always open and impish faun mascot wink to its hedonistic reputation. It s a glimpse of old Hollywood, before it got all straight-laced and sober. At least, it was.
