The house had just been lifted so they could put a new foundation under it. About 10 30 last night, the supports gave way. And the house slid down the hill until a retaining wall stopped it and thats where it sits this morning. It fell just the way we wanted it to because all on the corners of the building which is much stronger and it should somewhat, you know, contain the situation. Inspectors decided not to red tag the house thats downhill from the one that collapsed. They are trying to figure out what happened. Nobody was hurt. Dont pull the plug today the family has one last hope for a 13yearold oakland girl declared brain dead after routine tonsil surgery. There will be one last test to see if theres any brain activity.
