Iran Delays Sending Ambassador to Sweden to Protest Quran Incident

Iran will refrain from sending a new ambassador to Sweden in protest over the burning of a Koran outside a mosque in Stockholm, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said Sunday. A man tore up and burned a Quran outside Stockholm's central mosque Wednesday, the first day of the Muslim Eid al-Adha holidays. Swedish police charged the man who burned the holy book with agitation against an ethnic or national group. In a newspaper interview, he described himself as an Iraqi refugee seeking to ban it. Iran's foreign ministry summoned Sweden's charge d'affaires Thursday to condemn what it said was an insult to the most sacred Islamic sanctities. "Although administrative procedures to appoint a new ambassador to Sweden have ended, the process of dispatching them has been held off due to the Swedish government's issuing of a permit to desecrate the Holy Quran," Amirabdollahian said Sunday on Twitter. He did not specify how long Iran would refrain from sending an ambassador to Sweden

Israeli Attack on West Bank Kills 8 Palestinians, Wounds 50

Israel launched drone strikes on a militant stronghold in the occupied West Bank early Monday, with Palestinian health officials saying that at least eight Palestinians were killed and another 50 wounded. Israel's military said it conducted the middle-of-the-night raid on the Jenin refugee camp, striking what it called a "unified command center" for militants. Israeli troops remained at the camp at midday in its largest operation in the West Bank in more than a year. Black smoke rose from the crowded streets of the camp, with exchanges of gunfire ringing out and drones flying overhead. Residents said electricity was cut in some parts, and military bulldozers plowed through narrow streets, damaging buildings as they cleared the way for Israeli forces. The Palestinians, neighboring Jordan and Egypt and the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the violence. Kuwait Urges Iran Border Talks as Gas Row Flares Anew

Kuwait reinvited Iran on Monday to talks on their sea borders after Tehran said it was ready to start drilling in a disputed gas field in the resource-rich Gulf. Kuwait insisted it held "exclusive rights" to the maritime field along with Saudi Arabia, after the neighboring countries agreed to jointly develop it last year. The field, known as Arash in Iran and Dorra in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, is also claimed by Tehran in a dispute which dates back several decades. "The State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia... alone have exclusive rights to the natural wealth in the Al-Dorra field," a Kuwaiti foreign ministry statement said. "The State of Kuwait renews its invitation to the Iranian side to start negotiations on the demarcation of the maritime borders," it added. Last year, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to develop the field, despite objections from Tehran which branded the deal as "illegal." Student Loan Debt Relief Rejected By SCOTUS, Twitter Says "It's Above Us Now" | | #1 NEWS SOURCE FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR ON EARTH !!!!!

Source: OLIVIER DOULIERY / Getty In a decision that surprised absolutely no one, the Conservative-leaning U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that President Joe Biden's $430 billion student loan forgiveness plan was unconstitutional. As CNN reports, the program would've delivered up to $20,000 of relief to millions of borrowers. In the decision, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that the Biden administration and the Secretary of Education rewrote the law, as they tried to use the HEROES Act to waive the debt. "The Secretary's comprehensive debt cancellation plan cannot fairly be called a waiver – it not only nullifies existing provisions, but augments and expands them dramatically," Roberts wrote. "However broad the meaning of 'waive or modify,' that language cannot authorize the kind of exhaustive rewriting of the statute that has taken place here." Re: OIC condemns Israel military operation in Jenin

The Arab world's current demand that 6.5 million be allowed to return to the State of Israel, known as the "Right of Return" 1948, has become weapon, as an influx of that magnitude is not mathematically feasible, and cause the demographic destruction of the Jewish State. This would be in violation of Paragraph 11 of Resolution 194, which required that those returning should and desiring to "live at peace with their neighbors should be permitted to do so at the earliest practical date." The 1948 Right of Return, cannot now be used as a weapon for the demographic destruction of Israel, fits neither the "live at peace" clause nor the "earliest practicable date" clause. There is no practical, let alone moral, way for Israel to accept and enable its own demise. Source link
