Also developing tonight, a woman pushing a stroller across the street in center city is hit and killed by a septa bus. The infant in the stroller was rushed to the hospital. David spunt is at 23rd and chestnut where this accident happened. Reporter it all happened behind me about 5 00 today. That infant is expected to survive but this is such a sad story tonight. Police and septa authorities are working to figure out exactly what happened. Philadelphia police say a woman in her early 60s was pushing a stroller. She was hit and killed by a septa bus making a left on Chestnut Street just after 5 00 monday evening. Inside the stroller was a baby. Reporter the Police Captain was on the scene moments after the accident. Authorities rushed the infant to chop for observation. According to authorities the septa bus was full at the time though no one on board was injured. The driver on scene talking with our accident investigation officer now.
