january 6th. we know today that the clock is ticking for the former president and his legal team. they have one week to produce evidence to back up donald trump s repeated attacks on the fbi, including allegations that agents planted records at his mar-a-lago home. he said it again this week. the problem that you have is they go into rooms, they won t let them in the same building. did they drop anything into those files or did they do it later. there s no chain of custody with them. but now special master raymond deer ri ordered lawyers late thursday, he did this just last night torks account for in court those unsubstantited claims that trump of keeps making on tv. and that s not all the judge is asking for. he also wants trump s attorneys to say whether they think the fbi was mistaken about what evidence was taken or where it was found. tz and he s giving them one last chance to say whether they want to claim the fbi took anything that s not on the list. if they ....
he left town in disgrace following the capitol riot and his election loss. he will be speaking to a group of conservatives and we re told that he plans to focus his speech on law and order. trump returns to washington amid a widening probe by the justice department into the capitol insurrection that now includes testimony from high ranking officials in his administration. mark short, the former chief of staff to vice president mike pence says that he testified under subpoena before a grand jury a federal grand jury investigating the insurrection. short s former boss also in d.c. today. pence delivered a speech and appeared to distance himself from the former president. so i don t know that our movement is that divided. i don t know that the president and i differ on issues. but we may differ on focus. i truly do believe that elections are about the future. and that it s absolutely essential at a time when so many americans are hurting, so many families are strugglin ....
welcome, everybody. our starting point is this breaking news. two american tourists have been kidnapped in dahab, egypt, in the sinai region. the kidnappers, it appears, are trying to negotiate some sort of prisoner exchange. jill daugherty joins us. what do we know? the state department is in touch with the families of these two people. names have not been given. they re 31 years old. the state department is providing counselor services and they are in touch and working very closely with egyptian authorities to try to resolve this. essentially, what happened, these two people, two americans in a car on their way to a resort at dahab. you mentioned that name. it s a former fishing village. apparently really a lovely site, place for snorkeling and diving. and so they were on their way. their car is stopped. they re yanked out of the car and taken away. it appears that the people who did that want the release the demand is for the release of an egyptian man who was ....
