The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed a lawsuit against the Houston Independent School District, accusing them of pay discrimination based on sex.

The search giant faced a slew of historic cases this year, including a landmark antitrust trial against the federal government, a bitter fight against the maker of Fortnite, and its first-ever gender discrimination trial.

The lawsuit, which alleges that a female executive at Google had been unfairly hired at a lower level—and salary—than male counterparts, is the first to be filed after the 2018 Google walkout.
