we re going to begin this morning with the wild weather in all forms across the country. the harsh conditions, include frigid temperatures, severe rain, pounding wind and rain. plenty of snow, as well. it all depends on where you are. this is the scene in southern california, where intense rainfall caused flash flooding for miles in san diego. the intense downpours flooded out roads quickly, submerging cars underwater. also in utah, vicious winds, shorting out power lines, leaving thousands of customers in the dark. the wind was so intense, the transportation department shut down major roadways, including interstate 15. big rigs and cars were in danger of flipping over. high wind warnings will be in effect until noon today in salt lake city. and in denver, the shovels and plows are out for the season s first snowstorm. more than six inches fell in some spots, quickly turning to ice after it hit the ground. drivers had a rough time navigating the roads. and many flig ....
