Yahia was shot and killed by Urbandale Police officers earlier this month. After they were called to the merle hay holiday inn on a drug complaint. After entering the lobby, officers confronted three people and a scuffle began with yahia who opened fire. Officers returned fire and yahia was hit and died at the scene.
