Broadsheet scam: Azmat Commission holds ex-PG NAB, lawyer responsible

ISLAMABAD: Justice (R) Azmat Shaikh Commission report on the Broadsheet affair has spared the generals who headed the NAB at the time but holds a former prosecutor general and a lawyer responsible for the scam. The commission also seeks a ‘fact-based’ prosecution of Asif Ali Zardari in the SGS-Cotecna and ARY cases at the appeal stage.
Informed sources say that the commission was dismayed over how these cases were decided by the Accountability Court in favour of Zardari. It was because of the ‘missing’ record, which the commission insists is not missing. Therefore, this point must be pressed in the appeal stage of the case by NAB to get the trial court verdict reversed. ....

John Laing : completes divestment of Irish wind farm

John Laing or the
Group ), the responsible investor and active manager of infrastructure projects internationally, today announces that it has completed the sale of its Irish wind farm, Glencarbry, to Greencoat Renewables plc for a total consideration of EUR 31.2 million (before divestment costs), equivalent to approximately £26.6 million.
This sale value represents a 6% premium to John Laing s book value for the asset at 31 December 2020, and is equivalent to a money multiple on its investment of 1.3 times.
Located in County Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland, Glencarbry wind farm has a total capacity of 35.6MW. Glencarbry was acquired by John Laing in 2015 and brought into operation in 2017, and has an operational track record of over three and a half years. ....

Joe Biden and the DHS have been hiding the real number of unaccompanied illegal alien minors being held in border facilities from the public.
Reporters have repeatedly asked Jen Psaki and the DHS just how many minors are currently in cages at the US-Mexico border and they refuse to answer.
