A short trip in the time machine, back to what this country looked like ten short months ago. The government shutdown, furloughing thousands, closing parks and gutting agencies designed to keep us safe. 97 of nasa is on furlough. Food safety and Nuclear Inspections have been suspended. Shuttering of National Parks has locked out hikers and park goers. Museums closed for business and hundreds of thousands of nonessential Government Employees are furloughed indefinitely.
