Milwaukee county sheriff david clarke ordered the park closed every night from 6 00 p. M. To 6 00 a. M. , following the fatal officer involved shooting of Syville Smith exactly three weeks ago. Following that shooting, eight businesses were burned. Others were looted and two people were hurt. Dozens of arrests were made, triggering the closure of the park and a nightly curfew. Milwaukee mayor tom barrett lifted that curfew last week. We are told by the county the park will resume normal hours. We will continue to keep you updated on this breaking news. Fire was brought under control. Three people were at home when the fire broke out they managed to get out of the building safely. Again, a firefighter suffered a knee injury while battling this fire. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. New at eleven a 36yearold man has now died after being shot multiple times on the citys north side. The shooting happened just before 10 near 37th and townsend. Officials say its unclear what led up to the shooting. The Police Continue to search for a suspect. And officials investigating a crash involving a semi. This happened on 894 eastbound just before midnight. You can see that a car ended up under a Quad Graphics semi. Two lanes were closed on the system ramp to 94 eastbound. But they have since reopened. Two teen girls are recovering after they were attacked by pit bulls in brown deer. We continue to follow last nights breaking news. A young child was shot and killed just before six oclock in the area of 15th and happened inside the home. The little boy was just four years old. At this point its still unclear who fired the weapon. In addition to First Responders Salvation Army chaplains were on scene last night comforting the victims family. That little boy loved his mother. Couldnt nobody tell him nothing about his mother. Pray for us. Before you judge her. Pray for our family. Memorial at the house last night they gathered in prayer. Again it is unclear who fired the gun. The investigation is ongoing. Just last week a 9yearold milwaukee boy was shot inside a home. Police say he was shot by his 6year old brother who was playing with a gun. It happened on september 21st near 20th and hadley. The 9yearold was seriously hurt and at last check hes still recovering at phillips was taken into custody for owning a firearm as a felon and leaving that firearm near a child. T
