Last year, Ford revealed that the all-new, totally bangin’ F-Series Super Duty Tremor would be available with an integrated electric winch developed by Ford Performance and Warn. That add-on proved mighty popular among folks with mighty big needs, so Ford decided to share the love a bit. The Ford Performance Parts Winch by Warn is now available on more new Super Duty trucks.
“We have Super Duty customers who saw the Tremor winch calling to say they want that same choice,” said Ron Meredith, Ford truck vehicle personalization planning manager. “So we’ve expanded its availability to every new Super Duty pickup and made sure it meets the needs of all of our hardworking Super Duty customers.”

Habitat for Humanity to build affordable subdivision in New Hanover

"Our main goal whenever we have a piece of property is to work with the engineer and really maximize the housing we can get for the land space," she said, "while still making it a sizable lot for the family to have."
Before the zoning change, Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity could have constructed up to nine homes on the site. Now, they can build up to 11.
In recent years, two other properties have been rezoned to R-10, and the planned subdivision will fit in with neighboring subdivisions, including the Apple Valley and Walnut Hills areas, Ron Meredith, a current planner with the New Hanover County Planning and Land Use Department, told members of the planning commission.

Ford offers 12,000-lb Tremor winch on other models

Last year’s introduction of the Tremor off-road package on Ford Super Duty pickup brought a raft of off-road kit to the burly workhorse, including an integrated winch.
Now, the Blue Oval is deciding to offer that particular option on other trims.
Available on Super Duty trucks model year 2020 and newer, the –
inhales – 12,000-pound Ford Performance Parts Winch by Warn –
exhales – will be available as either a factory-orderable option or dealer-installed accessory, though the latter choice will cost more.
It can be fitted to trucks equipped with the 7.3-litre gas V8; or the 6.7-litre Power Stroke diesel V8, provided they are optioned with dual batteries and dual 397-amp alternators. That stipulation is presumably so the rig has sufficient juice to power the winch.
