In los angeles county, theyve had to close or move coronavirus testing sites because of the chaos. Chicago and philadelphia have had to shut down food banks that were helping people who the virus has put out of work. Theres some encouraging news from drugmakers. The makers of the drug remdesivir, the antiviral that has been used to treat covid19, are now saying a third study shows that their drug is effective in treating the coronavirus symptoms with just a fiveday treatment.
