Cardiovascular Research Foundation Announces TCT 2023 Award Winners
The recipients of two prestigious awards — the Career Achievement Award and the TCT Geoffrey O. Hartzler Master Operator Award — have been announced by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) ahead of its annual scientific symposium, the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) conference. TCT 2023, will take place from Monday, October 23 thru Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Moscone Center in in San Francisco, California.

Evolving approaches to choice of outcomes in clinical trials: win ratio, repeat events, etc
Many clinical trials have a composite outcome which is conventionally analysed as time-to-first-event. Better alternatives can put the events in a clinical hierarchy, leading to a win ratio analysis and/or make use of repeat events, e.g. hospitalisations. These evolving techniques will be described with examples from recent trials in cardiovascular diseases.
