Tesla Karnataka: Karnataka Industries minister mum on talks with Tesla, ET Auto

Tesla Karnataka: The Minister's post on X came in response to a comment by Aarin Capital chairman TV Mohandas Pai who said Telangana government was in talks with Tesla to set up an electric car plant. "Is GoK wooing Tesla and Elon Musk to come to Karnataka? Best place in India!" the former Infosys director and CFO said.

Gujarat Offer Land To Tesla: गुजरात सरकार ने टेस्ला को मैन्युफैक्चरिंग यूनिट लगाने के लिए 1000 हेक्टेयर जमीन का ऑफर दिया है। गुजरात के अलावा महाराष्ट्र और कर्नाटक भी टेस्ला को लुभाने में लगे हुए हैं। कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री तो ये बयान तक दे चुके हैं कि टेस्ला कर्नाटक में यूनिट लगाएगी, लेकिन कंपनी को अभी तक अच्छी डील नहीं मिल पाई है।

Gujarat Offer Land To Tesla: इलेक्ट्रिक कार बनाने वाली कंपनी टेस्ला को गुजरात सरकार की तरफ से 1000 हेक्टेयर जमीन का ऑफर दिया जा रहा है। ये जमीन कच्छ तट के पास मुंद्रा में है, जहां पर टेस्ला को मैन्युफैक्चरिंग यूनिट लगाने का ऑफर मिला है। ऐसा नहीं है कि सिर्फ गुजरात ही टेस्ला को लुभाने के लिए जमीन का ऑफर दे रही है। इसके अलावा कर्नाटक और महाराष्ट्र की तरफ से भी टेस्ला को लुभाने की कोशिशें हो रही हैं। इसी साल 8 जनवरी को टेस्ला ने कर्नाटक के बेंगलुरु में टेस्ला इंडिया मोटर्स एंड एनर्जी प्राइवेट लिमिटेड नाम से कंपनी रजिस्टर कराई थी।
इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार महाराष्ट्र औद्योगिक विकास निगम के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी पी अन्बालागन कहते हैं कि महाराष्ट्र सरकार और टेस्ला के अधिकारियों के बीच 4 मीटिंग हुई हैं। उनकी तरफ से भी टेस्ला को जमीन की पेशकश की गई है। टेस्ला ये तय नहीं कर पा रही है कि उसे कहां पर अपनी मैन्युफैक्चरिंग यूनिट लगानी चाहिए, इसलिए वह कर्नाटक, महाराष्ट्र और गुजरात तीनों सरकारों के साथ बात कर रही है।
साल के शुरुआत में ही कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री बीएस येदियुरप्पा की तरफ से एक ट्वीट आया था, जिसमें कहा गया था कि टेस्ला की तरफ से कर्नाटक में एक रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट यूनिट लगाई जाएगी। हालांकि, बाद में येदियुरप्पा ने वह ट्वीट हटा लिया। इसके बाद फरवरी में एक बार फिर से येदियुरप्पा ने एक बयान में कहा कि टेस्ला की तरफ से कर्नाटक में इलेक्ट्रिक कार मैन्युफैक्चरिंग यूनिट लगाई जाएगी। अब ये देखना दिलचस्प रहेगा कि आने वाले दिनों में टेस्ला कहां पर अपना ठिकाना बनाती है।

Tesla Inc will set up an electric car manufacturing unit in Karnataka, said chief minister BS Yediyurappa in a statement. The statement was a part of release listing benefits for the southern state under the Union Budget 2021. "American firm Tesla will open its electric car manufacturing unit in Karnataka," Yediyurappa said in a statement in Kannada.

Ending years of wait and speculation, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has finally entered India by registering Tesla as a company in Bengaluru. According to the details available on the Registrar of Companies website, Tesla India Motors and Energy Private Limited has been incorporated and the registered address is in Lavelle Road, Bengaluru.
"Tesla registered its Indian subsidiary with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) in Bengaluru on January 8, with Rs 15 lakh authorised capital and Rs 1 lakh paid-up capital. Tesla India Motors and Energy Ltd has been opened in the city centre, with Vibhav Taneja, Venkatrangam Sreeram and David Jon Feinstein as its directors," said the company in its filing with the RoC.
