INSPIRATION FOR SUBMISSION: What inspires me to sing is that I love it and I love to put smiles on people’s faces. For me it’s important that people learn the history and struggles of Black people. I chose this song because I feel like it reaches out to Black people and it encourages them to raise their voices and to not let ourselves be treated in such an inhuman way with all of the injustices, police brutalities and discrimination. We all want to be accepted and treated equally and to be given the chance to succeed in life, regardless of our colour.
