Burn at the dan river mills plant in brookneal. The fire started yesterday around 3 30 and the smoke could be seen for miles. The plant has been closed for a few years, but crews had been working to recycle some of the material from the building. We still do not know what started the fire. But crews say there are a lot of debris piles from demolition that will take a while to burn out. A person had to go the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in roanoke. Prince William County officer Ashley Guindon and two other officers were responding to a domesticrelated incident when they arrived at the address. Three officers were shot, guindon died from her injuries. News 9 confirmed Merrimack Police were called upon to notify her family in merrimack of her passing.
