Bally s issued a total of 12.65 million shares of common stock in the offering, which included 1.65 million shares issued pursuant to the full exercise of the underwriters over-allotment option. The net proceeds from the offering were approximately $671.4 million, after deducting underwriting discounts, but before expenses. Bally s intends to apply the net proceeds from the offering to fund a portion of the cash consideration payable to shareholders of Gamesys Group plc ( Gamesys ) upon consummation of the previously announced combination of Bally s and Gamesys (the Combination ). If the Combination is not consummated, Bally s expects to apply the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include repayment of debt, repurchases of its common stock, capital expenditures, acquisitions and investments.

The offering is expected to close on April 20, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions. Bally s has granted the underwriters in the offering an option for a period of 30 days to purchase up to an additional 1,650,000 shares of common stock. Bally s expects the net proceeds from the offering to be approximately $583.8 million (or $671.4 million if the underwriters exercise their option to purchase additional shares in full), after deducting underwriting discounts but before expenses. Casino jurisdiction Singapore confirmed on Sunday it was in talks with regional neighbour Australia about joint easing of Covid-19 -related travel restrictions. The city-state said it was discussing with Australian authorities “the mutual recognition of vaccination certificates and resumption of travel with priority for students and business travellers”. On Friday, Singapore’s Transport Minister, Ong Ye Kung, had stated in a radio interview that the country was exploring ways to open up its borders and revive air travel. “Nobody is going to come to Singapore and stay for 14 days,” Mr Ong was quoted as saying, alluding to quarantine protocols even for those permitted to enter.
