A 36-year-old Bay Area man was arrested on suspicion of making a false call to authorities about an active shooting situation at Shoreline Amphitheatre.
Mountain View police dispatchers received a call Tuesday evening from 36-year-old Anthony Herrera, who allegedly claimed an active shooter was present at the venue, according to a statement issued by Mountain View police.
Herrera did not provide further information, and hung up before more information could be obtained, police say.
