Commander radko mladic has been jailed for life. He was found guilty of genocide and crimes against humanity during the bosnian war of the 1990s. This was mr mladic during the war, when he was nicknamed the butcher of bosnia. In the town of srebrenica in the east of bosnia and herzogovina he oversaw the massacre of more than 7,000 bosniak men and boys. It was the worst atrocity in europe since the second world war.
