Blackberry Smoke + The Allman Betts Band Cancel Maine Show Spirit of the South Tour. The tour will still trek across the country, but it will skip Maine. The Spirit of the South Tour features Blackberry Smoke, The Allman Betts Band, The Wild Feathers, and Jaimoe. The show was rescheduled to July 23, 2021, at Rock Row, in Westbrook. According to Waterfront Concerts the show is officially canceled. Speculation of the show being scrapped started after Blackberry Smoke removed the Westbrook gig from their website. Throughout promotion of the summer tour, the Maine show has been nowhere to be found on any tour plans.

Blackberry Smoke Confirms Spirit Of The South Tour 2021 May 18, 2021 Advertisement Blackberry Smoke will embark on the “Spirit of the South Tour: A Celebration of Southern Rock N’ Roll” this summer. The band will be joined by special guests The Allman Betts Band, The Wild Feathers and co-founding The Allman Brothers Band drummer Jaimoe for a series of dates spanning July 30 – August 27 as well as shows in September and October. Initially, BBS planned to head out on the “Spirit of the South Tour” in 2020 before the pandemic led to a one-year delay. Each show on the tour will conclude with a collaborative finale paying tribute to various influences within Southern music. Additionally, The Allman Brothers Band Museum At The Big House will host a mobile set up at each venue featuring “never-before-seen archival items including original hand-written lyrics, family photographs, iconic clothing and jewelry, one-of-a-kind instruments played by the band and more.”
