Utqiagvik will see its first paved street this summer April 22nd 5:22 pm |   In addition to upgrades to the Utqiagvik Airport, the state plans to lay down the first paved road in Alaska's northernmost community this summer. Ahkovak Street, which runs parallel to the Wiley Post-Will Rogers Memorial Airport, is on the list for this year's State of Alaska Department of Transportation improvements.
