Academy's Modisette recognized by Marines

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The U.S. Marine Corps, in recognizing exemplary student athletes across the country through its Semper Fidelis All-American Program, has named Melinda Modisette from Albuquerque Academy among those selected to this year’s class.
The program – in its fourth year – spotlights approximately 100 student athletes based on athletic prowess, academic success, and embodiment of the Marine Corps values of honor, courage, and commitment, according to a news release.
Modisette was selected by Intersport, a marketing company partnering with the Marines, as the 2020 Female All-American of the year, and will receive a $5,000 scholarship for her college education.
