YOUTUBULAR BALLS: Niko Omilana, whose pranking of BBC London got lots of views but ignored some inconvenient, er, mainstream facts ONE of the biggest surprises in the London mayoral election campaign came last week when a Savanta ComRes poll for ITV News showed Niko Omilana, a 23-year-old YouTuber, on 5 percent, giving him, unlike other comedy candidates such as Count Binface and Laurence Fox, a fighting chance of retaining his deposit come 6 May. Virtually unheard-of by anyone over 30, Omilana has 3.43m subscribers to his YouTube channel, 1.1m followers on Instagram and a further 526,000 on Twitter, though the number of those resident in London and both old enough and bothered enough to vote is unknown. ....
UTSA study: San Antonio-area charters see more student movement from school to school FacebookTwitterEmail Bianca Davila knew early on that her youngest child, Jordan Castillo, had special needs. Jordan was not hitting his developmental milestones and was having behavioral issues that prompted their pediatrician to refer him to the Center for Healthcare Services. But for the next three years, she said, she had to fight all the way to the network’s highest levels to get Jordan tested for special needs. He received a diagnosis toward the end of second grade, she believes, only because she had emailed and called IDEA leaders at their headquarters. ....
Jack Hendry renaissance has got the Celtic supporters discussing key question January 10, 2021 So the Jack Hendry renaissance has apparently got the Celtic supporters locked in discussion on social media. Who could’ve imagined this would’ve been a talking point? Potentially bringing him back from his Belgium loan spell with KV Oostende? That would’ve been unthinkable just several months ago when the season started. When the Hoops signed Shane Duffy, we looked to have a heck of a defensive group at the club. Kris Ajer, Chris Jullien, Hatem Elhamed, and Nir Bitton were other potential options for Neil Lennon. Yet, looking through them, only Ajer has really had a standout season. Three others have disappointed whilst one – Jullien – has had his problems with injuries. ....
