FRIDAY MOOD!!!! | 106.1 KMEL | The Sana G Morning Show

Mar 5, 2021
Dorothy O'Hanlon went to dinner with her husband at Maggiano's in Florida and took photos and videos of what they feel was discrimination with their seating assignments!
If you look at the video and pictures above you can see that the majority of the people seated at the front of the restaurant are white and the majority in the back of the restaurant are people of color.
The O'Hanlon's video has gone viral and being shown support by people of all backgrounds. Either miraculously all the white folks showed up early and the black folks showed up late or there is some kind of unspoken rules to place people of color in the back!

Restaurants in San Luis Obispo County are changing up their seating arrangements as the county is now back in the red COVID-19 tier.
The new rules mean restaurants can open indoor seating at 25% capacity or 100 guests, whichever is less.
Wednesday is the first day restaurants can welcome some customers back inside since September.
"Originally, we were shut down completely except for take-out, then they were allowing us to do outside only, then we had a brief period where we could bring inside again, then that stopped again, then we were outside only," said Steve Bland, SLO Provisions owner.

New steriliser promises cleaner air indoor than outdoor - The Hindu BusinessLine

New steriliser promises cleaner air indoor than outdoor
March 01, 2021
‘100 per-cent safe bet against Coronavirus pathogen’
Layout and design of a building, as well as occupancy, type of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system (HVAC), can impact the potential airborne spread of Coronavirus, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency.
A Kerala-based researcher has now patented an air steriliser that operates on a ground-breaking visible light photo-catalytic technology and promises ‘100 per cent safe air’ in air-conditioned, closed environments. A visiting Vice-President M Venkiah Nadu commended the invention at a function here as last week.
Cleaner air indoor
Syriac Joseph Palackal, a scientist in synthetic chemistry with many international patents to his credit, said that his Aerolyz ASR 600 steriliser can generate cleaner air indoor than outdoor. Available data suggest that indoor air is five-time more polluted than outdoor.

12 Fun Indoor Places to Take Kids in Twin Falls

12 Fun Indoor Places to Take Kids in Twin Falls
If you have kids in your house, how are you doing?
Are you going crazy? Hiding in your bedroom or the bathroom to get some alone time? Maybe you're making up excuses to go for a drive to a store or somewhere (anywhere) that isn't your house. For those parents with kids who need to be occupied and out of the house more, remember the light at the end of the tunnel: five day school for the Twin Falls School District starts again on March 8, 2021.
I'm not saying our kids are being naughty with all the extra time at home, but they do seem to get bored more often and games, reading, screen time, and constant snacking only get them so far. In Twin Falls, we have the answer to the pandemic monotony. Take your kids somewhere indoors (that isn't your house) to play.

Can Wearing Headphones Cause Hearing Loss and Headaches?
Whether you're working from home, or using earbuds more often while you stay at home during the pandemic, here's how to protect your ears from permanent damage

As we spend more time listening in to virtual meetings, taking virtual classes, or just utilizing headphones more during the Covid-19 pandemic, there may be unintended damage being done to our ears. Constantly being plugged in while sheltering in place or turning up the volume to not get distracted by family members can have a long-term impact on your hearing. Even the best wireless earbuds for working at home can potentially contribute to other issues, such as headaches and ear pain, and you might not even realize it.

Indoor Mold Detection: A Closer Look

PatnaDaily
Mold is ubiquitous in nature. Filamentous fungi often produce mold in indoor environments. Excessive moisture, a carbon source, a moderate temperature (25ºC), and dampness, besides other factors, are supportive elements for the growth of mold indoors.
The nature and characteristics of indoor molds are much more variable. Sometimes one can see mold growth in indoor environments with the naked eye. However, it is hard to assess health and hygiene effects just by looking at it. Therefore, it is essential to study the mold in order to understand its impacts.
There are a number of techniques available nowadays to isolate and identify the mold from indoor environments. No one technique fits in every scenario, but rather, it should be case specific. Although mold can be examined and evaluated in various ways, an integrated approach to detect mold in indoor environments is described below:

CBR Pollutants of Indoor Environments

PatnaDaily
The indoor environment becomes a concern when it gets contaminated due to Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) pollutants. The monitoring of indoor environments becomes necessary in order to evaluate and manage the health and hygiene around such polluted area.
This distresses everyone to some extent, but it is particularly harmful to residents around metropolitan areas with large industrial settings, children whose immunity is still developing, the elderly with known medical conditions and of course, people with compromised immune systems.
The  Sources of CBR Pollutants
CBR related issues of the indoor environment may induce due to a number of activities within the building or as a result of outside infiltration or the combination of both. Some common and frequent CBR agents/of the indoor environment is described below:
