Today, the CDC updated its domestic travel guidance to say that fully vaccinated people
can travel safely—but that doesn’t mean the agency is recommending it.
Why is that? We called up Katherine, a staff writer who is covering the vaccine rollout, to find out.
The conversation that follows has been edited and condensed.

Sunday is "Wayne King Pay-It-Forward Day

ANDROSCOGGIN VALLEY — This Sunday, March 21 is “Wayne King Pay It Forward” day at the Gorham town common. The day is dedicated to performing acts of kindness in memory of King, who served as director of special services for SAU 20.
King passed away unexpected on Feb. 4 and his family asked that in lieu of flowers and gifts, people “perform an act of kindness or make someone’s day by sharing a smile and some laughter.”
His friends, co-workers, and students decided to take it a little further and started a Facebook page where people could look for acts to do and where people in need of an act of kindness could ask and where people could share their stories and deeds. The request to pay-it-forward in honor of King has since blossomed into a coordinated campaign with Pay It Forward cards to keep the acts going and a special day dedicated to King this Sunday, one day before what would have been his 55th birthday.

Newly vaccinated taking baby steps toward getting back to normal

Pam and Walter McWhirt got both doses of the vaccine, waited two weeks for full immunity, then made a beeline to Northern Virginia to see their son’s family.
The McWhirts, who are in their 70s and are both retired Spotsylvania County educators, were thrilled to get closer to their grandchildren, ages 11 and 13, than they’ve been in the last year. They felt more at ease interacting with them—instead of staying on separate ends of a screened-in porch as they’d done on their few previous visits—but were still cautious.
“We felt more relaxed about being there with them,” she said, “but not more relaxed to the point we gave everybody hugs.”

Caroline Flack's mother has hit out at social media companies for "failing to protect anybody".
The TV presenter took her own life last year at the age of 40, and her mum Christine has admitted the former "Love Island" presenter would "look at her phone all the time", and even if several people were praising her she would always focus on the "one bad thing said".
Speaking about social media platforms, she said: "They failed to protect anybody. I think we know it's Caroline because she's my daughter and Jo's sister, but they don't protect anyone. They don't protect young girls.

OPINION:
Auckland has always been an attractive place to live. The name Tāmaki Makaurau literally means "Tāmaki, desired by many". Already home to one-in-three people living in New Zealand, Statistics NZ projects Auckland's population to
hit 2 million somewhere around 2030.
Significantly, within a few years of that milestone, the number of Aucklanders aged 65+ will exceed the number of children aged 0-14, and the 40-64 age group will become the largest overall.
In addition, Auckland's attractiveness to, and need for, workers from around the world is set to re-intensify as international borders reopen post-pandemic. This will bring in people who don't necessarily view the ideal city home as a single storey bungalow with a backyard.

In this crazy, modern, fast paced world we live in, our minds tend to become filled with useless, tired info that clogs the system causing confusion, indecision, stagnation and life-threatening stress levels. Many people struggle
to find time to regenerate, they are simply overwhelmed and exhausted.
Today's survival is different from what our ancient ancestors dealt with. For the most part, they were up against physical survival and survived danger by activating their body's SNS – Sympathetic Nervous System.
