Erica Packer has spoken frankly about her miscarriage shortly before the end of her marriage to billionaire businessman James Packer, as part of an interview for Vogue Australia s May issue for which she did a photoshoot with the ex-couple s three children.
The model, 43, was joined by her daughters Indigo, 12, and Emmanuelle, eight, and son Jackson, 11, in lush photos taken against the backdrop of a stunning rural estate.

For more than 200 years, workers at the Port of Newcastle have loaded ships with coal dug out of nearby mines for transport to Asia and beyond. But with global action to tackle climate change set to decimate the trade, the management at the world’s biggest coal port is preparing for a future without the fossil fuel that generates 60 per cent of its revenues.
“The future of coal is obviously questionable and we have to prepare for that,” says Roy Green, chair of the port, which is a gateway to the Hunter Valley, a coal mining region 280km north of Sydney. “We are likely to see a continuing flattening of coal volumes through the port and ultimately a decline, as the world switches away from coal-fired power.” ....

Erica Packer has revealed she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage just weeks before her six-year marriage to billionaire businessman James ended.
Erica, 43, was due to welcome a son with James in August 2018, but tragically lost the baby halfway through her pregnancy.
The model named her son Laramie (meaning tears of love ) and after he was born, buried his tiny body inside her late mother Sheelah s grave.

Erica miscarried a much-wanted second son in August 2013 at the same time she was dealing with the grief of the breakdown of her high-profile marriage.
Speaking exclusively with Vogue magazine editor-in-chief Edwina McCann for a special Mother s Day edition, Erica said she wanted to share her story in the hope of helping other women who had been through a miscarriage.
