اثرها تسوية وضع الأناضول وذلك بابطال معاهدة سيفر التي وقعتها الدولة العثمانية كنتيجة لحرب الاستقلال التركية بين قوات حلفاء الحرب العالمية الأولى والجمعية الوطنية العليا في تركيا (الحركة القومية التركية) بقيادة مصطفى كمال أتاتورك.وقادت المعاهدة إلى اعتراف دولي بجمهورية تركيا التي ورثت محل الإمبراطورية العثمانية. والغت معاهدة سيفر التي اقرت بحقوق الكرد .
