Liberty Christian Fellowship moves to church on outskirts of Invercargill

The church last month moved from the Invercargill suburb of Newfield to Kennington.
Money bequeath to the Liberty Christian Fellowship from its founders, Ernie and Lorraine Sinclair, helped to buy the old Kennington Presbyterian Church.
“The lease was running out [on the Newfield building] and we decided it was time to own our own building,” Stevens said.
The Newfield building had earlier housed the Stairs Restaurant.
There was plenty of space on the Kennington property to extend the church, Stevens said.
About 50 Liberty Christian Fellowship followers met weekly for worship at the memorial hall in Winton.
Numbers are rising there too and church leaders are thinking about owning their own building in Winton within the next two years. ....

If you have been wanting to get a COVID-19 vaccination, but didn’t have transportation to Williamsburg or London, then you may be in luck.
In an effort to help get more people vaccinated against COVID-19 in underserved areas, some mobile vaccination sites are coming to the local area this week and offering free vaccinations.
A mobile vaccination van will be at the following locations on the following dates:
• New Salem Baptist Church in London on Tuesday, June 1. It is located at 2182 N. Laurel Road, London.
• Firestone Industrial Products in Williamsburg on Tuesday, June 1, and Wednesday, June 2.
• Wasioto Winds Pro Shop at Pine Mountain State Resort Park on Thursday, June 3. It is located at 1050 State Park Road, Pineville. ....

The approval of the Pfizer shot for kids 12 years of age and older could be key for Governor Beshear to further lift restrictions and capacity limits that are in place. Some parents say they will definitely sign their child up to protect them, and help get us back to normal, while others say they don’t believe children need the shot. Meanwhile more mobile vaccination clinics have been announced in the area. FEMA and Wild Health will hold clinics with the Pfizer vaccine Wednesday at the Firestone Plant in Williamsburg, Friday at First Baptist Church in Somerset and Saturday at Freedom Christian Fellowship in London and Canadatown Community Fellowship in Williamsburg. The Vaccination Clinic remains open at the Laurel County Extension Office. Times at all locations are from 10am to 6pm. ....

The News Journal Mobile COVID-19 vaccination sites coming to Whitley, Laurel counties this week – The News Journal

In an effort to help get people vaccinated for COVID-19 in under served areas, some mobile vaccination sites are coming to the local area this week to provide free vaccinations.
The project is a joint effort involving the Kentucky Health Department, its contractor, Wild Health, Kentucky Emergency Management, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which is managing a vaccination site in London.
A mobile vaccination van will be at Firestone Industrial Projects in Williamsburg on Tuesday, May 11, and Wednesday, May 12. The vaccination event is open to the public.
A mobile vaccination van will also be at Canadatown Community Fellowship on Saturday, May 15. It is located at 95 Log Cabin Road, Williamsburg. ....
