Michigan s House elections committee heard testimony Tuesday in support of a pair of bills that would dramatically change how the state awards its Electoral College votes.
Under legislation introduced by Rep. Beau LaFave, R-Iron Mountain, and Rep. Jeff Yaroch, R-Richmond, Electoral College votes would be awarded to the winner in each congressional district with two votes going to the statewide winner.
